A
ir pollution is an invisible killer. It damages our
health, and can even be deadly. That's why at
Moms Clean Air Force we care so much about
the laws that protect us from air pollution.
Air pollution affects your lungs, heart, brain and air pollution
can increase the risk of preterm birth and low-birth-weight babies.
Everybody deserves clean air to breathe, and
healthier solutions like zero emission vehicles al-
ready exist (see more solutions below).
Watch how air pollution moves through
the air, and into the body.
11 THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR CLEANER AIR
1. Walk, run, or bike whenever you can:
Leave the car in the garage, and use buses and trains
when possible.
2. Save electricity, save money, cut down
pollution:
Unplug appliances, use low-energy light bulbs, buy high-effi-
ciency appliances, turn off computers and other electronics.
3. Get an energy audit of your home:
Seal drafts, refresh insulation, and find out where else you
are leaking moneyinto the air—and using too much energy.
4. Eat less beef:

tons of pollution.
