2021 ushers in a new program format for us—a
significant change from our 2020 live streamed
shows! We previously used a Zoom meeting for our
panelists, and live streamed that to the web via our
dedicated RTMP with Vimeo, which was embedded
on our website and on our social media outlets. It
was a one-directional broadcast with only hosts and
panelists seeing each other in the Zoom call, and
our viewers only interaction with us was via a Q&A
widget from Vimeo—pretty much like every other
online show.
Now YOU Can be Part of the Show
The Healthy Indoors LIVE Show will be different.
We are creating a live, virtual "studio audience"
for the show in our Zoom meeting. Viewers can
register for their free "studio audience tickets" in
advance and actually participate on-camera in mod-
erated discussions with our hosts and guests during
the live show!
We are promoting truly dynamic conversations
on this show. Our goal is to facilitate an unprec-
edented level of audience interaction that hasn't
been previously available with any industry shows
or online events.
There will be some strict rules of engagement
for on-air behavior, of course. While we want to
encourage open discussion, unruly attendees will be
removed from the audience at the discretion of our
show hosts and moderator. We're going without
safety nets with our new live audience format—but
there's still a trap door!
