The health ramifications of plastics, found in our air and food, were recently pushed to the foreground with the report "The Release of Novel Entities." It contained a specific drill down on plastics and untested chemicals. This month, I'm arguing that when we investi- gate environmental problems in buildings, we should not be chained down by the dictates of the scientific method, because I believe that depending on the scientific method can restrict an IAQ investigator to an overly narrow path.
