Healthy Indoors | 43 low on gas, it's an easy call to AAA or a service station to get a quick fill up and keep moving. What happens when a school bus loses power? Help me out, readers! In the case of an irresponsible driver or unreliable charging sta- tion, what would happen if the bus runs low on battery and the kids are stranded? I mean if a vehicle runs raise a vital question: Would bus drivers be responsible for charging their bus every night? Or are school districts responsible for building new infrastructure to ensure buses are charged after use. The U.S. depart- ments of energy and transportation are currently rolling out new guidance on how to be building EV infrastruc- ture for buses they own. The pan- demic already created a shortage of school bus drivers so will districts add this to their job description or take it on themselves.
