Get In The Game: It may look like we've
gone over the top with our sports references
this month, but athletics truly lend themselves
to some very good life analogies.
Can we continue to remain "on the sidelines"
when it comes to important issues like our
health, indoor habitats, or the state of our
environment from unsustainable practices?
Consider our time here as the "Big Game,"
and we may well be entering the final quarter
from the standpoint of the habitability of our
indoor and outdoor environments. The clock
is running, and in the past several decades
we've gotten behind on the scoreboard for
healthy, sustainable lifestyles.
Isn't it time for all of us to get in the game and
start doing something about it?
