And Where Are
They Going?

ver wonder how many women work in the En-
vironment. Health and Safety industry? How much
do they make? What do they do? What are they
thinking? Is the industry really as male-dominated as
we think it is? Well, we now have some answers.
The Environmental Information Association (EIA) released
their first-ever survey of the current role of women in the Envi-
ronmental Health and Safety (EHS) industry last month at their
annual virutal conference. Sarah Jamieson of EMSL and Cather-
ine Mills of Pinchin Ltd., both in Canada, who co-chair the EIA
Women's Committee, made the conference presentation.
