18 IAQA VIEW IAQA IAQA is looking for volunteers to help start a new IAQA Chapter or to become involved in an existing Chapter as a Chapter Director or Chapter Officer, such as a Vice Chapter Director, Treasurer, or Membership Development Chair. Once you have made the commitment to become active in a new or existing IAQA Chapter, IAQA Staff will be here to provide any support you need in making your Chapter a success. Although the work of a Chapter Director or Chapter Officer requires dedication and time, the support network provided by IAQA makes the job a lot easier! Here you will find a list of existing or prospective Chapters, along with the contact information of their Chapter Director. If you are interested in becoming active in your local Chapter, simply contact the Chapter Director and let them know of your interest! If there is no IAQA Chapter in your area, and you or somebody you know would like to start a Chapter, simply contact us at chapters@iaqa.org. The Chapter Relations Coordinator will then provide you with the Chapter Director application, along with the IAQA Chapter Policies & Procedures. The Indoor Air Quality Associ ation is seeking to expand its network of Chapters across North Amer ica and internation ally, but we need YOUR help! IAQA 2017 Call for Papers IAQA has issued a Call for Papers for its 20th Annual Meeting, to be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV from January 30 – February 1, 2017. We are seeking papers on the following topics: • Assessments • Building Science and Materials • Business Management • Emerging Issues • Filtration and Particles • Foundations for the IAQ Professional •Government Affairs • Healthy Homes • IAQ Around the World • Mold and Microbes • Occupational IAQ • Sampling IAQA will work with individuals who may be eligible to receive CEUs as a result of giving a presentation. Presenters may be eligible to receive CEUs from several certifying organizations. Presentation times will be 60 minutes in length. Selected speakers will be given complimentary discounted admittance to the Annual Meeting. All material presented at IAQA must be substantiated by scientific literature citations, where available. In subject areas lacking research, presenters shall clearly state what source(s) the presentation material is based upon or note that the presentation is based on their experi- ence. Written permission must be obtained for any copy written material used in conjunction with the submitted paper or presentation. Presenters must clearly declare any competing interests at the begin- ning of their presentation.
